Protek’s KQ 4/8 Channel Cold Glue Controller provides touchscreen control of dot and line adhesive application on compatible packaging equipment. It allows operators to store gluing programmes and select the pattern required for each production job.
A 15-inch touchscreen provides access to up to 500 stored programmes, with eight glue segments per programme. Switching between dot and line application helps operators set up different adhesive patterns from the same control platform.
The controller supports connections for code-reading detection, glue-volume monitoring and defective-product rejection. The equipment supplied and the available inspection functions depend on the selected system configuration.
