Product Information
The KQ GJC-600 Side Seam Gluing Detector available from Protek is designed to inspect adhesive applied by a roller gluing process. It checks for missing glue, overflow and uneven coating, providing an inline inspection option for carton side seams on compatible folder gluers and carton machines.
The system combines a sensor with an AI-based detection algorithm to monitor the applied glue during production. A graphical operating interface gives operators access to the inspection functions and settings.
The supplied specification lists detection widths of 23mm and 56mm, with a maximum operating speed of 600m/min. Material limitations include paper thickness of up to 2mm and substrates without a metal film. Protek can review the material and application layout to establish whether the detector is suitable for your roller gluing process.
