Protek’s KQ Jumbo Roll Tape Unwinder feeds tape from larger reels into a compatible tape application arrangement. It provides an accessory option for production jobs where the tape supply and reel handling need to be considered alongside the applicator.
The unwinder is described for use with jumbo rolls of double-sided tape, with a separate drive unit supporting the feeding arrangement. A larger tape supply can help reduce the frequency of reel changes, depending on the roll capacity and consumption during production.
The supplied specification lists a maximum roll outside diameter of 400mm and core options of 3 or 6 inches. Protek can review your reel dimensions, tape specification and existing applicator to assess compatibility. The feed speed and changeover procedure should be confirmed for the selected arrangement.
