Protek’s KQ-TM2 Pharma-Code Reader is designed to read supported pharmaceutical packaging codes on compatible production equipment. It provides an inline checking option where code identification forms part of the process for detecting mixed or incorrectly identified products.

The KQ inspection platform provides central touchscreen control and monitoring, with functions for displaying production information and recording recent incorrect-product details. Alarm and rejection functions depend on the modules and line equipment included in the selected configuration.

The TM2 specification lists support for Code 1-2-3, EMS code and wide Pharma-code formats. Its reading requirements differ from the separate TM1 barcode reader, so the exact code format and printed samples should be checked before selection.
