The KQ Multi-Channel Cold Glue Controller available from Protek is designed to manage adhesive application across multiple dispensing positions on carton and corrugated packaging lines. Independent channel settings allow the gluing arrangement to be configured for the production job.
The range includes configurations for 8, 16, 24 or 32 guns and supports compatible multi-hole, self-cleaning and multiple-row dispensing equipment. Channel capacity and programme storage should be specified against the selected controller model.
Signal interfaces support connections to glue detection, vision inspection and rejection equipment. This allows adhesive application and product checking to be brought together on a suitably configured folder gluer or packaging line.
