Product Information
Protek’s KQ PJC800 Glue Gun Detector checks adhesive application during production, helping identify breaks in the glue track, insufficient adhesive and glue applied in the wrong position. It provides an inline inspection option for compatible packaging equipment where the position and continuity of the adhesive are important to the finished pack.
The sensor learns a reference glue track and checks subsequent applications against it. Where a defect is detected, the system can output a rejection signal to connected equipment, helping separate affected products during production.
The supplied specification lists a maximum line speed of 320m/min and a minimum detectable glue size of 2mm. Installation needs to account for the sensor’s focus distance, product dimensions and the gluing arrangement. Protek can help assess the detector alongside the dispensing and rejection equipment required for your line.
