Protek’s KQ Vision Gluing Quality Control System uses industrial camera inspection to check adhesive dot and line patterns during production. It provides a visual inspection option for compatible folder gluer lines where glue placement and consistency need to be monitored as cartons move through the machine.

A touchscreen interface gives operators access to the inspection functions, while local storage records production inspection data. Alarm and ejection functions support the handling of products that fail the configured checks, when used with suitable line equipment.

The supplied specification lists an inspection length of 50–1,000mm, a width of 100mm and glue widths of 1–5mm. It specifies water-based adhesive; any proposed hot melt application should be confirmed against the selected configuration.
