The KQ Vision Inspection and Barcode Detection System from Protek uses industrial camera inspection to check printed cartons and identify codes during production. It supports checks for mixed cartons and printing defects, helping operators monitor product identity and print consistency on compatible packaging lines.

The system supports barcode, QR-code and template-based inspection, with functions accessed through a central touchscreen. Connections to suitable machine rejection equipment allow products that fail the configured inspection checks to be removed from the production flow.

The supplied specification lists a maximum machine speed of 400m/min and a detection target range of 10–500mm. Camera position, lighting, print quality and the code being read need to be considered when specifying the installation.
